We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while also promoting additional beauty treatments available at our salon.
Duties
- Perform various nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable nail colors and designs for clients.
- Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance the client experience.
- Assist with retail sales by promoting products related to nail care and beauty.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail technology and beauty treatments.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their desired outcomes and aftercare instructions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cosmetology standards.
- Familiarity with various beauty treatments including hair styling, hair threading, barbering, dermabrasion, and body waxing is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and provide personalized service.
- Ability to perform retail math for product sales and inventory management.
