Job Description
In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for our enterprise's Building Automation System (BAS), helping ensure our facilities operate efficiently, reliably, and sustainably. You will provide expert oversight across the full BAS lifecycle, including engineering, design, installation, service, upgrades, and system optimization.
You will play a key role in driving major BAS initiatives by leading project milestones, supporting enterprise-wide standardization, and delivering technical solutions that enhance HVAC and electrical system performance.
This role also focuses on maintaining and improving existing BAS infrastructure while advancing continuous improvements in system components, processes, and procedures.
Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with facility teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot complex building system issues, improve operational efficiency, and support the performance of our global facilities. This is an opportunity to apply deep technical expertise while influencing the evolution of BAS standards and capabilities across the enterprise.
Must Haves: ·
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of BAS, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems OR advanced degree ·
- Experience with BAS design, installation, commissioning, and training ·
- Excellent mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems
Nice to Have
-Tridium/Niagara BAS Certification
-Fluent in English and Spanish
-Experience with BAS hardware/systems (Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, and/or Distech)
-Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) · EPA refrigeration “universal certification”
-Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics · Self-motivated -Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control ·
-Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks
-Willing to Travel
