Elementary Physical Education Teacher - 2026-27 School Year
San Luis Coastal Unified School District represents the communities of Avila, Edna Valley, Los Osos, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo and currently has an enrollment of approximately 7,500 students. Small neighborhood schools are a hallmark of the District where students are educated from preschool through twelfth grade and a world-class adult school program offers unique, life-improving courses to thousands of community members.
San Luis Coastal Unified School District is seeking a qualified Elementary Physical Education Teacher to provide engaging, standards-based physical education instruction that supports students’ physical development, wellness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits.
This position will serve two school sites, with final site assignments to be determined based on student and District needs

Must hold a valid California credential authorizing instruction to students in Physical Education. An English Learner authorization is required. Candidates not possessing this authorization will be required to complete an application for an emergency CLAD certificate upon hire and fulfill the CLAD requirements within one year.
