Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and industrial equipment with precision, adhering to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Interpret production documents, including batch records and packaging instructions, to ensure accurate product handling
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with sanitation standards
- Conduct quality checks on packaged products to verify weight, labeling, and overall presentation meet quality standards
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues on equipment and report any malfunctions promptly for maintenance
- Maintain accurate production logs, documentation, and records in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Support food safety management initiatives by following all safety standards in production, sanitation procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during packaging processes while practicing proper ergonomics and safety techniques
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth shift operations and continuous improvement
Experience
- Prior experience in food processing or dairy goods production is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, GMP, safety standards in production, and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment are a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, weights, or quantities accurately
- Strong internal communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety management and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
