LI Script is a Long-Term Care Pharmacy providing pharmaceutical products and services for residents of skilled nursing facilities, short term rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities and other long-term care facilities throughout New York State and Connecticut. We aim to help long term care facilities deliver high standards of care for their residents.
Position Summary- The Client Services Representative acts as the liaison between the pharmacy and clients. This position will collaborate with all LI Script internal operational departments to ensure client retention and positive clinical, operational, and financial results for the facilities that we service. Primary responsibilities will include preparing for and conducting regularly scheduled cost containment and customer service pharmacy meetings with assigned accounts and conducting in-services with facility staff (customer) and pharmacy staff on appropriate topics when needed, with flexibility to cover all days and all shifts.
Additional responsibilities include investigating and resolving customer issues in a timely manner. Examining records, reports, or other documents to establish facts or detect discrepancies. Preparing correspondence, reports of inspections or investigations or recommendations.
Responsibilities/Duties
· Provide financial, quality, and service reports to clients and attend client meetings monthly, quarterly, and/or as needed.
· Develop and maintain strong effective business relationships both externally and internally.
· Help develop and implement LI Script operational strategies to assure the pharmacy staff are prepared in anticipation of all client facility needs.
· Ensures Services provided meet the standards of state and federal regulations as well as the obligations set in customer agreements
· Support Account Management resources in delivering ad-hoc services
· Assist in Facility preparation for annual state survey
· Field and send written business correspondence in a timely fashion.
· Travel to all present and future accounts as needed (Long Island, Queens, New York City, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Dutchess, Rockland and Albany Counties)
Qualifications/Experience/Education (Required)
· Pharmacist, RN, LPN required, residing in the State of New York.
· Strong skills in communication, conflict management, presenting, and prioritizing.
- Leadership skills including the ability to motivate and empower others in order to achieve company goals.
- A team player with the personality and self-assurance to integrate, work alongside, and learn from the current client services and management team (Pharmacists, RN’s, LPN’s, Pharmacy Technicians and Medical Records).
· A proactive problem solver who works with sufficient urgency.
- Ability to travel, sometimes overnight, several times per month.
- Capacity to attend meetings / events in the evening and sometimes weekends.
· Pharmacy Experience, Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations and Processes
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint
