Teacher’s Assistant
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Teacher’s Assistant to support our Lead Teacher in providing a safe, structure-filled, and inspiring environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily lesson setup, small group instruction, and classroom activities.
- Help monitor students during instruction, outdoor play, meal times, and transitions.
- Prepare instructional materials and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
- Work 1-on-1 with students who need extra learning or behavioral support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate degree or college coursework in Education preferred).
- Certification: NYS Teaching Assistant Certification (Level I, II, III, or Pre-Professional) preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare, school, or camp setting.
- Patience, positive energy, and strong teamwork skills.
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
