At AAMG, we believe strong leadership and disciplined management are the foundation of a well-run property. We’re currently hiring a high-performing, results-driven Onsite Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our apartment communities in El Paso.
This role requires someone who is structured, highly organized, and able to manage both people and processes with confidence. The right candidate will be able to lead a team, manage resident expectations, hit occupancy and collection goals, and maintain the overall performance of the property.

Core Responsibilities:
Operations
- Oversee all on-site operations: leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, vendors and reporting
- Ensure timely unit turns and ready conditions for all move-ins
- Review and submit all assigned reports—daily, weekly, and monthly—without delay
- Maintain all resident files, notices, lease documents, and renewals in compliance and as expected
Leasing
- Meet or exceed leasing goals and ensure vacant units are marketed properly
- Monitor application pipeline, availability reports, and ensure team follows up on all leads
- Approve or reject applications based on compliance criteria
Collections
- Enforce rent collection procedures—post notices, assess late fees, and monitor delinquency daily
- Work directly with residents to resolve payment issues or initiate legal process as needed
- Ensure all payments are processed and posted accurately
Team Leadership
- Supervise leasing staff, porters, and maintenance personnel
- Monitor attendance, professionalism, and task completion
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and hold staff accountable to their roles and timelines
- Communicate with the Regional Manager regarding any performance or compliance concerns
Resident Relations
- Address resident concerns promptly and professionally
- Document all communication and follow-up actions thoroughly
- Enforce lease terms and community rules without bias or exception
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years in multifamily property management, including leadership over staff
- Deep understanding of Fair Housing, TAA lease documents, and compliance expectations
- Strong background in collections, renewals, and reporting
- Tech-savvy with experience in property management software (ResMan, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional time management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to be on-call as needed

Physical Demands of the Role:
- Must be able to walk the property regularly for inspections and staff accountability
- Must be able to climb stairs, access attic spaces, and enter units for inspection or showing
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (files, packages, office supplies, etc.)
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the day
