Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Packaging & Retail Associate to join our team. This position involves packaging custom-processed meat products, assisting retail customers, maintaining inventory, and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced meat processing and retail environment.
Responsibilities * Package and label a variety of meat products, including: * Beef * Pork * Jerky * Snack sticks * Sandwich meats * Bacon * Other custom-processed products * Accurately weigh and prepare boxes for customer pickup * Maintain product quality and proper food safety standards * Assist with inventory counts and stock management * Restock retail displays and merchandise as needed * Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during checkout * Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions and orders * Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitary * Follow company policies, safety procedures, and processing guidelines
*Clean equipment, tables, floors, and other assigned areas * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * Strong work ethic and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and customer service skills * Basic math skills for weighing products, inventory, and customer transactions * Previous retail, food processing, or packaging experience is preferred but not required Physical Requirements * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly * Ability to stand for extended periods * Comfortable working in both cold and hot environments * Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and packaging tasks
