Drywall Repair & Finishing Technician
PatchMaster of Oakland County
PatchMaster of Oakland County is seeking an experienced drywall repair and finishing technician to handle small-to-medium residential and light commercial repair work.
This position begins as a 1099 independent contractor role, paid per job, with the opportunity to transition into a W-2 role once consistent workload is established.
This is not quick patch-and-paint work, and not an entry-level or helper position. Repairs are expected to disappear under paint. You must be able to work independently, communicate professionally with homeowners, and produce clean, high-finish drywall repairs without shortcuts.
We prioritize repair quality, cleanliness, professionalism, and client experience over speed-based production work.
This role is best suited for technicians who take pride in invisible repairs and clean finish work.
Most work is performed inside occupied residential homes, often with homeowners present during the repair process.
