POSITION SUMMARY: Install and dismantle Festival signs and décor under the supervision of the Installation Manager, ensuring timely and efficient execution before and after the event.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collaborate with the Installation Manager to install Festival signs and site décor before the event.

Assist in the construction of support structures for signs and décor when required.

Participate in painting, cleaning, or other preparatory activities for signs or décor prior to installation.

Remain on call and available via walkie-talkie on pre-assigned event days to handle sign or décor assignments or emergencies.

Remove all signs and décor within the specified timeframe post-event.

Take responsibility for all tools used during the job.

Clean up debris, including scrap wood and screws, after installations are completed.

Contribute to the packing and inventorying of signs and décor during teardown.

Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use the Absentee Request Form to accurately report absenteeism to the HR Office.

Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.
-
Attend and successfully complete any required training sessions.

Ensure that any intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival is handed over to the Festival at the end of each production year or upon request through the supervisor or department head.

Complete all required Feedback Forms and Final reports.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Proficiency in the use of hand and small power tools (drill drivers, jig saw, etc.).

Strong team collaboration skills.

Experience working from heights on scissors lifts, ladders, and scaffolding while ensuring the safe coordination of materials and tools.

Demonstrated initiative with the ability to follow complex directions when working unsupervised.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to move rapidly on foot across the infield.
