Job Description
We are seeking professional Armed Security Officers for a structured transit-based assignment within the Hampton Roads area. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment in high-visibility, public-facing locations.
Officers assigned to this post will be expected to operate with a high level of awareness, professionalism, and accountability. This is not a static post—officers must be comfortable working in active environments where interaction with the public is frequent.
The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, observant, and confident in their ability to assess situations and respond appropriately. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure are essential.

Duties:
- Maintain a visible and professional armed presence at all times
- Monitor high-traffic public areas and remain alert to potential risks
- Identify, assess, and respond to suspicious or disruptive behavior
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas
- Provide clear directions and assistance to the public when needed
- De-escalate situations using sound judgment and communication
- Complete accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports
- Follow all post orders and company protocols
Requirements- READ CAREFULLY
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Must have a Virginia DCJS Armed License.
- Pre-employment drug screening required.
- 2 years of security, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Ability to generate comprehensive field reports for client and internal review.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
