Job Summary

Duties
- Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling and balancing at shift end
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and upselling items to enhance sales
- Assist customers with product demos and explain features to promote new or featured items
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and replenishment activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual setting are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
