ArborTech is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe removal of trees and large branches.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in crane operation, prioritizing safety, precision, and professionalism. Experience in the tree removal industry is preferred but not required.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and maintain 45-ton boom cranes used in tree removal operations.
- Safely lift, move, and position heavy loads, including trees and branches, in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the tree service crew to ensure a seamless and coordinated workflow during tree removal projects.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the crane equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
- Adhere to industry standards, guidelines, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure a clear understanding of job requirements.
- Assist in general tree care operations such as operating other commercial vehicles or jobsite on occasion.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in arboriculture or a similar industry.
- Valid crane operator certification and license.
- Thorough knowledge of crane operation techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
- Physical fitness and agility to perform tasks associated with tree removal activities.
What You’ll Need:
- Must hold current NCCCO or Comparable Crane Operators Certification (Valid, In Good Standing)
- Must possess current Class B CDL with 6+ month experience.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and DOT physical exams as well as drug screen.
- Driving record must be clean.
- Ability to lift blocking, ground protection mats, and crane pads (as needed)
