About the Role
Alpine Academy is a residential therapeutic school for teenagers- a place where students live, learn, and heal, often after years of struggling in environments that couldn't meet their needs. The adults who work here aren't just staff. They're the consistency, the safety, and the belief that makes real growth possible.
As a Campus L.I.F.E. Supervisor, you lead that environment. You run the day-to-day of a residential home- and you do it from the inside, working alongside your team of Coaches for about half your week. You set the standard by living it. The other half you're in the leadership seat: managing your team, making final calls, and making sure everything holds together so the clinical and academic work can actually land.
If you lead best by example, find satisfaction in a well-run team, and care about the kind of work that changes lives this role was made for you.
Who Thrives in This Role
You’re not the loudest person in the room. You’re the steadiest and you’re willing to roll up your sleeves to prove it.
You’ll do well here if you:
- Lead by example and find more satisfaction in showing people how than telling them to
- Can hold authority and humility at the same time, you’re the decision-maker and still willing to do the work
- See accountability as a form of care, not a punitive act
- Stay clear-headed under pressure and steady when things get unpredictable
- Enjoy developing people, you take genuine interest in your team’s growth
- Find real satisfaction in things running well, not just in managing crises
- Are willing to be present when your team needs you, even outside perfect hours
A note on the role’s demands: You’re leading staff who carry real emotional weight every day, while doing much of that same work yourself. The supervisors who succeed here are grounded, self-aware, and able to take care of themselves so they can genuinely show up for others.
What Success Looks Like
The home feels steady. Students know what to expect. Staff trust the system and each other. Shifts run smoothly even when you’re not running them. Problems get addressed early instead of becoming emergencies. Your Treatment Lead is effective because you’ve created the conditions for good clinical work to happen. And over time, the coaches on your team grow into confident professionals because they learned by watching you.
