Haven Art Studio is a creative experiences company bringing thoughtfully designed, social art experiences to restaurants, breweries, community spaces, and partner venues throughout the Emerald Coast.
We’re looking for a Creative Experience Facilitator who is warm, dependable, creative, confident with groups, and genuinely enjoys helping people have a memorable experience.
This is an event-based contract position. Hours vary based on scheduled events and are not guaranteed each week.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate Haven Art Studio creative experiences from start to finish
- Welcome guests and create a fun, positive, and inclusive atmosphere
- Clearly demonstrate and explain creative projects step-by-step
- Encourage guests while allowing room for individual creativity
- Assist with event setup, organization, and cleanup
- Handle Haven materials, tools, and equipment responsibly
- Maintain an organized and visually polished event space
- Follow Haven's event procedures, safety standards, and guest experience expectations
- Represent the Haven Art Studio brand professionally at partner venues
- Communicate promptly and professionally with Haven management
Who We’re Looking For
You do not need to be a professional artist, but you should be comfortable with creative projects and confident learning new techniques.
The right person is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Patient and encouraging with different personalities and skill levels
- Dependable and punctual
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently once trained
- Able to maintain positive energy throughout an event
- Comfortable with setup and cleanup
- Available for some evenings and weekends
- Able to travel to scheduled partner venues
- Equipped with reliable transportation
Previous experience in art, crafts, hospitality, events, teaching, customer service, or group facilitation is a plus.
Compensation
$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and event responsibilities.
Typical assignments include event setup, approximately two hours of guest-facing facilitation, and cleanup.
Contractor Requirements
Selected candidates must:
- Complete Haven Art Studio training before independently facilitating events
- Successfully complete a background screening
- Sign Haven Art Studio's Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
- Sign the applicable Independent Contractor Agreement
- Maintain confidentiality regarding Haven's proprietary experience concepts, materials, processes, pricing, training, operational systems, customer information, and other confidential business information
