Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and paid time off after the first year.
Duties:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Experience:
- Previous experience in HVAC or related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in equipment repair and service technician roles
- Brazing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of HVAC system design and installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
