An IT Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technology support for employees. This position serves as the first point of contact for any issues that employees have concerning laptops, desktops, printers, iPads, and cell phones.
Duties include troubleshooting Windows desktops and laptops, configuring and deploying new computers and printers. Managing user accounts and password resets, installing and supporting approved software applications, and escalating any complex IT issues to Senior IT specialists when needed.
This position is an entry-level opportunity to work with an experienced, IT team-oriented staff. It requires strong customer service skills, in-person consistent attendance, and the ability to multitask. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred, with one to two years of experience in a mid-sized business environment. Must have a valid Driver's license and appropriate transportation, as this position may require local travel to job sites.
