Cafe Manager / Assistant — Love You Latte
We’re looking for a very outgoing, energetic, quick-witted, friendly, expressive, and genuinely happy person to join our café team!
This Is NOT a Typical Coffee Shop
Love You Latte is a family-friendly, welcoming café, and we are looking for someone who can help create that atmosphere every single day.
This is not a robotic, stand-behind-the-counter-and-go-through-the-motions type of job. Our customers are a huge part of what we do, and we want them to feel welcomed, comfortable, appreciated, and excited to come back.
We are looking for someone who is:

Personality, common sense, work ethic, and overall fit with our team are more important to us than years of experience.
We can teach you our menu, POS system, beverages, food running, and café procedures. We cannot teach someone to naturally be warm, personable, energetic, expressive, or genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
Language Requirements
English is a priority. Spanish OR Armenian is required.
You must be comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers in English. Being bilingual in English + Spanish or English + Armenian is an important part of this position.
Training & Growth
You’ll start at $22/hour, with the opportunity to increase your pay based on performance, how quickly you learn, your initiative, and the amount of responsibility you are able to take on.
There are 4 main stations to learn:
- Hosting & Customer Service
- Running Food
- POS / Taking Orders
- Barista / Beverage Station
Depending on the employee, each station is typically learned and becomes comfortable within the first few shifts. As you successfully learn and demonstrate that you can handle each area independently, we will evaluate your performance and discuss pay increases and additional responsibilities.

Schedule
During the initial 30-day training period, you must be available for full-day shifts for the majority of your training. This is important because we want you to fully understand how our café operates and become comfortable with all four stations.
Once you are fully trained, we can discuss a more flexible schedule, including potential remote/administrative responsibilities depending on your role, performance, and how quickly you learn.
We are currently open 8 AM–4 PM, with plans to potentially add 5 PM–8 PM coffee & snack hours, which will create even more flexibility in the future.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
