Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse / Shipping member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of products before they are shipped to customers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Use of forklift, sitting and standing style.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections of products to ensure they meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Pull and verify outbound orders quality and compliance with established standards.
- Document and report any defects or discrepancies identified during the inspection process.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and package products for shipping according to customer requirements and shipping guidelines.
- Generate shipping labels, documentation, and packing slips as needed.
- Arrange transportation and schedule pickups with carriers or freight forwarders.
- Track shipments and update internal systems with shipping information and delivery status.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment details, delivery schedules, and any shipping-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and quality control inspections.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in quality control or logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience in quality control, shipping, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and shipping.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
