Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional boba tea experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for boba, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection. You will be responsible for providing outstanding service, preparing high-quality drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of boba beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care
- Operate the Clover POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Keep the café area clean and organized, including equipment maintenance and cleanliness of workstations
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
