Julep Southern Kitchen and Cocktail bar is hiring an experienced line cook. We're a small, dedicated team that values authenticity, creativity, and commitment. Julep was voted Restaurant of the Year 2023 , Best Happy Hour in '23-'26, and Best Cocktails in Kittitas County '22-'26. Main Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely, safe manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
-18+
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of intermediate to advanced food preparation techniques a plus
- Proficient knife skills and ability to handle kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, mornings, or day shifts throughout the week and weekend as needed
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service establishment is highly preferred
