We help people get to and from their medical appointments and are looking for an experienced wheelchair van driver.
Drivers must have the following:
- Preferred 1+ years experience as wheelchair van driver with wheelchair securement experience
- Preferred stretcher operator experience
- Have a Smart Phone
- Have a valid License
- Must have a Squeaky Clean Background and A+ Driving Record (No prior suspensions, DUI's, felonies or misdemeanors regardless of age)
- Must Pass a Drug Test
- Dependable, Strong Work Ethic and Solid Customer Service Skills.
- Must have the right skills and intuitive knowledge to operate modern tech devices and apps effectively.

As a Wheelchair/Stretcher Van Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for passengers with mobility challenges. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and requires strong driving skills, including experience van driving. You will report to staff and play a vital role in ensuring a comfortable and secure journey for all passengers. Your relevant skills in paratransit, knowledge of the city and communication will enhance the overall service quality, making a significant impact on the lives of those you transport. Responsibilities
- Safely operate the wheelchair van to transport passengers to their destinations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed to accommodate passengers and their mobility devices.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
