*Job Overview*
As a , trainee for two weeks progressing to assistant manager you will play a crucial role in the automotive paint & body industry by acting as a liaison between customers and the production department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and coordination of customers requests.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet customers and assist with their service needs
- Write accurate estimates based on customer descriptions and vehicle inspections
- Communicate service recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Consummate the deal and write up the work order
- Coordinate with the production manager to ensure timely completion of the work order
- Maintain customer records and follow up on service progress
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries
*Experience*
- Prior experience in tire service, auto repair or paint & body industry is preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand service requirements
- Familiarity with automobile make & models is a plus
- Previous experience as a body person or automotive painter is an asset
- Ability to transmit accurate information between customers and technicians
- Clear penmenship with experience writing estimates & work orders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,800.00 - $75,000.00 per year
