Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, classrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all health and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination
- Conduct floor care activities such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning stations as needed
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor buffing, waxing, carpet cleaning, and use of chemical agents
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies management
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
