Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Assist servers by clearing tables promptly, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Support the waitstaff by delivering food and beverages as needed, while adhering to proper food service protocols.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries regarding reservations or menu items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide accurate information to guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.
