Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately in care plans.
- Prepare meals, assisting with meal planning and preparation while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering positive communication with clients and their families.
- Assist with patient transfers, using appropriate patient transfer methods to ensure safety during movement or transportation.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to infection control standards related to senior care settings.
Experience
- Experience in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is advantageous.
- Proven ability to follow care plans accurately while demonstrating excellent client communication skills.
Pay: $14.00 per hour
