Christian Primary Therapist at New Chapter Faith Based Recovery:
Primary Therapist Job Description and Responsibilities:
v Conduct individual and family sessions in-person weekly (and remotely ONLY if needed) to assist clients achieve and maintain their recovery and manage and cope with their mental health symptoms.
v Conduct group sessions daily.
v Conduct family sessions with clients in the assigned caseload as required for the level of care.
v Conduct family group session for all clients’ family members ONCE every two months.
v Assess different level of care for clients using ASAM criteria.
v Conduct different assessments.
v Manage caseload of 16-24 adults.
v Provide therapy using different techniques such as DBT, MI, CBT , and individual psychology.
v Complete required documentation on an ongoing basis on a timely manner.
v Assist clients with developing treatment plans and attainable goals.
v Assist clients with signing their consents, and ccommunicate with third party organizations including, probation officers, DCPP staff, EAPs, and outside physicians.
v Collaborate with internal psychiatrist on a regular basis.
v Provide clients and their families with referrals to necessary services and resources to continue to promote their wellbeing while still in treatment.
v Provide clients with their aftercare plan prior to discharge.
v Participate in supervision and clinical team meetings regularly.

v Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
License/Experience:
· Must be licensed (LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, LCADC)
· Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Substance use &/OR Dual Diagnosis

Pay -Salary: $60,000.00
Schedule:
● Based on coordination with CEO
● Monday to Friday (5 days with 2 evenings)
● May have to rotate to work 3 hours on Saturdays every other week rotating.
