What are we looking for?
We are currently looking for Mobile Diesel Mechanics If you live in the San Diego area and have 2-4 years of experience working as Diesel Mechanic, we want to hear from you! We offer morning shifts and locations include; Carroll Canyon, Escondido and Miramar.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using software (ex: Cummins Insite, Bendix, or Tech Tool)
- Conduct brake repairs, tire services, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Travel to other Robertsons Ready Mix locations to repair and maintain our fleet.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of proven experience working as a mechanic
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on equipment
- Experience with electrical systems and brake repair is essential
- Hydraulic system knowledge is a PLUS!!!
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must successfully pass a background and drug screen
- Must have a valid California Driver's license and a clean driving record
- Overtime and Saturday work is required

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
