Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move products within our warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management, shipping and receiving processes, and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are handled according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory control using systems such as AS400.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with maintenance of warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor role or similar position is advantageous.
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies related to warehouse management is beneficial.
- Certification in forklift operation is required; OSHA compliance knowledge is essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.40 per hour
