Assistant Superintendent – Atlanta-based General Contractor
Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 + full benefits.
This respected multifamily GC, runs a strong mixed-use, multifamily, and student housing pipeline across the Southeast. They are know for their dynamic culture that truly invests in the people on the team. You aren't just another number here. This is a traveling role. They have active projects in Athens, GA; Columbia, SC; Gainesville, FL; or Clemson, SC. Relocation or regional travel required for the project duration.
You will come alongside the Project Superintendent and Area Superintendents to build a $100M+ student housing project. The teams are loaded with exceptional leaders and your growth is a top priority of this company.
What You'll Be Doing
- Run field execution and safety for your area as the project's Safety Officer
- Serve as secondary field contact for clients and designers
- Help lead Field Engineers
- Support self-performed crews and the Concrete Superintendent
- Drive subcontractor selection, prequalification, and buyout
- Build and hold the master schedule, look-aheads, and compliance
- Own quality control and constant field monitoring
- Feed constructability input to preconstruction and Lessons Learned at closeout
Ideal Background
- 3+ years on $30MM+ commercial projects with a degree, or 5+ without one
- OSHA 30 required
- Multifamily or mixed-use ground-up experience strongly preferred
- Fluent in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; P6, Vista, or BIM 360 Glue a plus
- Wants real field authority, not a support seat
- Ready to travel or relocate for the project
