Job Summary:
Essen Health Care is seeking a Patient Coordinator – Women’s Health to join our Call Center team. This role is responsible for managing inbound/outbound patient communications, scheduling appointments, and supporting care coordination for women’s health services. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role ideal for someone with strong communication skills and prior healthcare call center experience.
Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments for Women’s Health services (OB/GYN, prenatal, etc.)

Provide patients with accurate information regarding services, providers, and locations

Verify patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility

Coordinate care and follow-ups, including referrals and test scheduling

Address patient inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and urgency

Document all interactions accurately in the EMR system

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experience
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare call center required

Experience in Women’s Health, OB/GYN, or Care Coordination strongly preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to manage high call volumes in a fast-paced environment

Experience with EMR/EHR systems (eCW, Epic, or similar preferred)

Bilingual Spanish preferred (not required)
