Good Shepherd Books and Gifts is seeking a part-time Bookstore Assistant to join our team. Schedule would include two-three full days per week and require availability for Saturday work rotation. This is a year-round position.
Responsibilities include:

Engaging with customers in an inviting, friendly manner and assisting them with their needs

Completing customer transactions with accuracy

Handle customer phone inquiries

Receiving and stocking store products

Processing incoming and outgoing shipments

Ensuring the store website is accurate and up to date

Maintaining a clean and organized appearance in the store

Assisting with annual store inventory (June 30, 2025-July 3, 2025) is mandatory.

Assist with other tasks as needed
Preferred candidate qualifications:
- Previous retail experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Proficient in cash handling

Detail oriented
-
Ability to multitask and work independently
