Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Administrator to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and rescheduling.
- Collect and review medical documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and data security
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes at the front desk while providing exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Maintain accurate medical records by organizing files, updating electronic health records (EHR), and managing health information in compliance with clinical confidentiality policies
- Support clinical staff with care plan documentation review, appointment scheduling, and patient intake processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical administration or office management within a healthcare setting; clinic or dental office experience is highly desirable
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with multi-line phone systems and typing (10 key) skills
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and filing processes
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide outstanding patient service at the front desk while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions

Pay: $48,183.57 - $58,027.53 per year
