American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a MS/Tele position requiring 2+ years of experience and flexibility to float between multiple med-surg telemetry units.

MS/Tele unit within a short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level IV trauma designation
-
87 staffed beds
-
Requires floating between two MS/Tele units as part of a flex pool
-
Patient ratio of 1:4/5
-
Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Requires working every other weekend
-
No on-call responsibilities

Uses Cerner charting system
-
Standard med-surg/telemetry equipment used
-
Liko lifts available in nearly all patient rooms
-
Active, unrestricted AZ RN license or valid compact license required (pending license accepted for consideration)

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Cerner charting experience preferred
-
ICU/PCU experience preferred, but strong MS/Tele experience also considered

Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
-
Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy
-
Must be comfortable floating without restrictions to other units or nearby affiliate hospitals based on skills and census needs

Provide patient care within a flex pool, floating where most needed across MS/Tele units

Facility scrub color is navy blue
