Summary
As a Floral Designer at Harris Teeter, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful floral arrangements that enhance our customers' shopping experience. Located in one of our many stores, you will utilize your creativity and expertise in floral design to meet customer needs while contributing to our mission of superior service.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring quality and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist customers with floral selections, providing expert advice and recommendations.
- Maintain the floral department by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to promote seasonal floral displays and sales events.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and cash registers.
- Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to enhance product offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Basic knowledge of retail sales practices and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
