This role inspects, maintains, and repairs precision tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure they operate safely and accurately for use in production.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, inspect, measure, and maintain perishable header tooling to ensure it meets specifications and supports production
- Issue tooling to work orders and production while accurately tracking incoming and outgoing inventory in the ERP system
- Operate tool room equipment, including lathes, grinders, and honing machines, to repair and maintain tooling as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following safety procedures, reporting nonconformances, and complying with company policies
Required Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of cold heading experience or die assembly/repair experience
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm
- Able to read and understand prints and disassembler/assemble tools
