About the Role
O.C. Welch Ford is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian to keep our facility clean, safe, and presentable for customers and staff. This is a key role in maintaining the professional image our showroom, service area, and grounds are known for.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain showroom, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and customer waiting areas
- Empty trash and recycling; keep receptacles sanitized
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as needed
- Clean glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of parts areas in coordination with the service team
- Keep entrances, walkways, and parking areas free of debris and hazards
- Restock restroom and break room supplies
- Report maintenance issues, spills, or safety concerns promptly
- Assist with basic grounds upkeep as needed
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Attention to detail and pride in a clean, orderly space
- Valid driver's license required
- Must pass a background check and drug test
Schedule
Full-time. Some early morning, evening, or weekend hours may be required to work around dealership operating hours.
