$40–$45 per hour (based on experience and certifications

As a Master Diesel Technician, you’ll operate as a high-level technical expert and leader within the shop.

Diagnose, evaluate, and repair major components on heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment
-
Perform comprehensive DOT inspections and advanced preventive maintenance
-
Execute complex electronic repairs and in-depth engine diagnostics
-
Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety
-
Document detailed repair processes and communicate clearly with service advisors and leadership
-
Support and mentor other technicians, helping elevate the team’s overall performance
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
-
5+ years of diesel technician experience
-
Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to perform physically demanding work and handle heavy components
Preferred Experience

Multiple ASE certifications

Manufacturer-specific certifications

Experience with advanced electronic diagnostic systems
