Mission: Responsible for electrical engineering conceptual design, development of design, preparation of construction documents, and performance of construction administration on given projects.
Responsibilities:
Performance of electrical engineering for assigned projects including, but not limited to, research, engineering calculations and preparation of studies, design documents and construction documents.
Coordination of electrical system design with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
Selection of electrical equipment and systems for assigned projects.
Construction administration duties including, but not limited to, submittal review, responses to Requests for Information and attendance at construction progress meetings.
Observation of construction progress and preparation of field reports and punch lists.
Reports to: Electrical Department Manager / Project Managers
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
5 – 10 years of demonstrated experience working as a project engineer in the consulting industry.
Professional Engineer, or must be eligible to sit for Principles of Practice examination and obtain professional engineering license within two years.
BIM (Revit) Proficiency.
