Warehouse Assistant Manager
Location: Madison, WI — On-Site
Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year
Position Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to oversee warehouse operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role will lead warehouse teams, manage inventory and logistics, and ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, SQF, and safety standards.
Must-Have Requirements
- 5–10+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing
- 4–6+ years of management/leadership experience
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
- Experience in food manufacturing/food processing
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics
- Experience with SQF and Safety audits
- Strong knowledge of GMP, food safety, sanitation, and HACCP
- Experience managing supervisors/team leaders and warehouse teams
- Strong knowledge of safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to work in cold/freezer and temperature-controlled environment
Preferred
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Experience in frozen food, dairy, ice cream, bakery, or beverage manufacturing
