Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with event-related cleaning needs
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance across all kitchen activities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours
- Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness through regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Experience with bussing tables, food prep, or catering environments is a plus
