Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing for infants and young children
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills through teaching and play
- Support individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and encouraging independence
- Practice safety procedures including first aid when necessary to ensure a secure environment for all clients
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and childhood development strategies
- Collaborate with families or guardians to communicate progress, concerns, or updates about the individual's well-being
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly valued
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is expected
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment while maintaining patience and compassion
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts as needed
