Job Overview
This field-based leadership role is responsible for ensuring all centers operate at the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational quality. In this role, you will serve as a key compliance leader, conducting audits, supporting licensing requirements, and partnering with center leadership to strengthen quality and consistency across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Audits and Quality Assurance
- Conduct onsite audits, inspections, and walkthroughs across childcare centers
- Evaluate compliance with state licensing regulations, health codes, and company standards
- Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans to improve compliance and quality
- Ensure adherence to childcare licensing requirements, safety regulations, and company policies
- Identify compliance risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
- Respond to compliance-related issues with urgency and sound judgment
- Train and coach center leadership and staff on compliance standards and best practices
- Partner with training teams to support consistent implementation of operational procedures
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance
- Maintain accurate audit records, compliance logs, and inspection documentation
- Prepare reports on compliance trends, risks, and performance for leadership
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company audit standards
- Partner with Operations, Training, HR, and leadership teams to align compliance initiatives
- Build strong relationships with center directors and regional leaders
- Support continuous improvement across processes, systems, and compliance workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, Compliance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in childcare operations, compliance, licensing, or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and compliance standards
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and corrective action planning
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational best practices
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and training abilities
- Proficiency with reporting tools and documentation systems
- Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule
