Timeless began in 1987 when four organic farmers from central Montana joined forces to be among the state’s first organic farmers. Focused on pulse crops and regenerative agriculture, Timeless introduced Black Beluga Lentils® to the natural products industry in 1994. Now in its third decade, Timeless remains committed to regenerative agriculture, good health, and community development in Montana and beyond. Timeless was acquired in 2024 by Mad Markets, PBC.
Position Summary
Timeless Seeds, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Warehouse Crew in Ulm, MT. This is an entry-level, hands-on role responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping product while maintaining the high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service that define our facility. No prior grain or pulse experience is required — Timeless is willing to train the right candidate.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Warehouse Lead, Plant Foreman, and Operations Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sample, weigh, unload, and load trucks.
- Receive, process, warehouse, and ship product accurately and on time.
- Operate grain cleaning and handling equipment as directed.
- Perform equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report issues promptly.
- Identify equipment inefficiencies and make necessary adjustments.
- Complete all required paperwork, production logs, and documentation accurately.
- Adhere to all OSHA, food safety, USDA, FDA, and State of Montana compliance requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and facility grounds.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Warehouse Lead or Operations Manager.
Education, Skills & Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive, cooperative attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Basic computer skills (willing to train the right candidate).
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand, kneel, walk, and climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
- Ability to work in seasonal temperature extremes (subzero to 100°F+).
- Ability to work in environments with dust (including grain dust), noise, and conditions requiring PPE (masks, ear protection, eye protection).
- Flexibility with shift schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, agricultural, or production facility experience.
- Basic mechanical abilities.
- Forklift certification or experience (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Hours may vary based on operational need as determined by the Operations Manager, but typically will not exceed 40 hours per week.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is based in Ulm, MT. Competitive hourly compensation of $18.50–$25/hour, commensurate with experience, within the Crew pay band.
