Position Overview:
We are hiring a Seasonal Outbound Lead & Data Specialist to support our peak and non-peak seasons, with the opportunity for long-term and full-time placement based on performance, reliability, and team fit. This role is focused on high-volume outbound calling to qualified leads, relationship building, and appointment setting for our sales team. This position is ideal for an experienced telemarketer who is confident on the phone, comfortable handling objections, and motivated by measurable results.
Key Responsibilities: Outbound Sales & Telemarketing
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to schools, institutions, and organizations using provided lead lists
- Deliver clear, professional messaging about United Yearbook’s products and services
- Qualify prospects and identify decision-makers, timelines, and interest levels
- Confidently handle objections and navigate gatekeepers
- Gathery key data in order to pass on to the sales team to process a quote proposal
Sales Support & Follow-Up:
- Perform follow-up calls and outreach to warm leads and prior inquiries
- Accurately document call outcomes and notes
- Support ongoing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and outreach initiatives
- Maintain consistent daily call activity and performance metrics
Professional Representation:
- Represent the United Yearbook brand with professionalism, clarity, and integrity
- Build rapport and trust with yearbook advisers, administrators, and organization leaders
- Communicate feedback from the field to help improve scripts, messaging, and targeting
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of proven telemarketing and/or outbound sales experience
- Demonstrated success in high-volume calling environments
- Strong objection-handling and conversational selling skills
- Ability to make 30+ calls an hour
- Must have a desktop computer and a professional headset with a noise-canceling microphone and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
- Average Typing Speed: 40–60 WPM with an accuracy baseline of 90% to 95%.
- Clear, confident phone presence with excellent verbal communication
- Must be highly self-disciplined, motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed daily and weekly targets
- Reliable internet connection and professional calling setup

- Hours and call windows will align with school and institutional availability Mon-Fri 8:00am- 12:00pm (except for federal holidays.)
