Job Overview
We are hiring for 2 teachers : Full-time 8am-5pm and a part-time floater from 12pm-6pm to help encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. You will assist other teachers in all classrooms.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Provide individualized child development instruction tailored to each child's unique needs, including special education and early intervention techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of child progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or welfare.
- Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following health protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to plan engaging lessons that promote social-emotional skills, literacy, numeracy, and physical activity for preschoolers and toddlers.
Skills
- Experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare or preschool environments.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Proficiency in curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with childhood welfare policies.
- Experience with lesson planning that aligns with developmental milestones and educational standards.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms efficiently while fostering a nurturing learning environment.
- Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is desirable.
