Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software to produce accurate parts.
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and make adjustments to maintain production flow.
- Select appropriate tooling and tooling setups for various materials.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with hands-on knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc controls preferred).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining operations.
- Experience working with CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
