Venue Description
Atlas9, a fictitious 90s movie theater, has been inexplicably transformed - where scenes from “forgotten films” of the 90s have materialized and come to life. Over 45k square feet set the scene for this immersive playground, where visitors can dive into dynamic installations, conspire with performers, and explore the interactive environment to unfold the mysterious narrative. Boasting three food and beverage concepts, a 240 seat movie theater style auditorium, two additional live performance spaces, a full retail shop, and of course a classic movie theater arcade, Atlas9 is the Midwest’s premiere narrative-driven immersive art experience.
Each visit offers a thrilling quest where unique movies have merged with reality, giving guests the lead role in this engaging adventure. Three narrative arcs are available to explore which means that no two trips will be alike. Tech wearables allow guests to interact with the environment in unique and unexpected ways while staff and performers can help direct the action. Atlas9 will be hosting events ranging from sing-a-longs to touring bands to wedding receptions to corporate retreats and team buildings.
Located next to the Legends area in KCK, Atlas9 will be near the new Margaritaville resort, KC Homefield Sports complex, Great Wolf Lodge, and Children’s Mercy Park.
If you’re a strategic thinker with a creative edge, and you thrive in fast-paced environments centered in customer experience, this is the role for you.
