Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning procedures.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates to support smooth dining operations.
- Support food preparation tasks by organizing ingredients and assisting with basic food handling activities under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling protocols to ensure hygiene compliance across all kitchen activities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service and events.
Skills
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety regulations.
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
