Overall purpose and objective of position:
Guide and manage branch office in providing quality service to members in account transactions, loan applications, and new accounts. Solve problems within established policies and guidelines. Attain branch growth goals in membership, deposits, business accounts, and loans. Support loan department as senior consumer lender to achieve production and compliance goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations. Create a positive culture for employees and members.
2. Open new accounts and conduct loan interviews. Process, approve and/or close loans within delegated authority.
3. Monitor branch activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, sales volume, and new accounts. Ensure the delivery of a consistent professional service.
4. Create and maintain a cross-selling environment within the branch. Train employees to maximize opportunities to sell products. Ensure branch growth and individual employee sales goals are met.
5. Monitor key products and sales within the branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices and a high quality of service for members.
6. Assist staff and members in solving complex account problems.
7. Schedule adequate staff to ensure efficient branch operation.
8. Develop relationships with small businesses to open new business deposit accounts.
9. Ensuring the branch is adequately staffed with quality employees. Assist in hiring needs for the branch, when necessary.
10. Work with quality assurance to ensure compliance with internal controls and address audit issues.
11. Evaluate the job performance of branch office staff to ensure quality of work and service to members.
12. Manage the security and safety of the branch. Ensure compliance with security procedures. Review and recommend changes. Ensure staff receives on-going security and robbery training.
13. Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
14. Responsible for facilities management including regular maintenance and repairs. Maintain the appearance of the branch to ensure a welcoming environment for members and employees.
15. Other duties as assigned.
Level of supervision:
Supervises other staff, completes performance reviews, and manages staff workflow.
Minimum qualifications, required or desired KSAs (competencies), and required or desired licenses or certifications:
- High school diploma required with three-years or more in financial services/lending.

- Excellent reading, writing, grammar, and intermediate math skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products or similar software programs.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
